Radiology School

King’s Daughters’ Hospital offers an accredited two-year scholastic program through its School of Radiologic Technology. Upon graduation, students earn a certificate in radiologic technology, allowing them to sit for the national board exam through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT). Course work includes both classroom and hands-on instruction. In the past five years, 96% of students have passed their national board exams.

Job placement/continuing education

The program director and clinical instructor assist students with job placement near the end of their second year. Most students confirm jobs prior to graduation. Some students choose to continue their education by learning an additional specialty such as nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, ultrasound or MRI.

Application process

Each year, a total of six students are selected to enter the King’s Daughters’ School of Radiologic Technology. Selected students begin the following July.
