Orthopedics

The Orthopedic Surgery team at King’s Daughters’ Hospital and Health Services cares for patients of all ages. They also work directly with athletic trainers and physical therapists to help ensure safety and care for both student and recreational athletes.

Orthopedics is located in the KDH Medical Office Building, 630 North Broadway, in downtown Madison. Please call 812-265-0848 for appointment information or to speak with a member of the orthopedics staff.

Services

Orthopedic surgeons at King’s Daughters’ provide a variety of orthopedic care. Many treatment and diagnostic tools are available directly in the physician offices. For surgery and more details imagery, patients access the main hospital, attached to the Medical Building via an inside walkway.

Orthopedic services include:

  • Sports medicine (injuries).
  • Fracture care.
  • Joint reconstruction.
  • Arthroscopy.
  • Arthritis problems.
  • Joint problems—shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and ankle.
  • Pediatric care.
  • Ligament/tendon care.
  • Conservative back and neck care.
  • Total hip replacement via mini-hip incision.

Rehabilitation Center

Orthopedic surgeons at KDHHS work closely with the Rehabilitation Center to help people return to work and activity as quickly as possible. The rehab team includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers. Please see the Rehab Center link for more information.
